The bikes usually look better in person, than in the pictures. For the MoCos sake, best hope so this year. Paint looks .... blah. In person probably better as usual.
In this case, it looks like a huge miss on the inner fairing from the pics. Instead of placing a multi function touch screen up higher, they buried it low so they could put 4 huge gauges where the screen should have gone. If done well, the screen could have incorporated the gauges as well as the radio and GPS. The huge amount of real estate chewed up by big honking gauges seems dumb poorly thought out. Why not something better than what else is out there? This placement puts the GPS well below line of sight, and agree with TB - does anybody actually ride these things, for real, first? Screen should be at side mirror height or so to be more user friendly.
Anyway, most of the guesses this year were right, kudos to the Pool Boy (finally). Still wondering about the handlebar controls change? - will find out soon enough. Looks like a seat redesign too or maybe just a different style but backrest spot looks changed.
For the guinea pigs lucky new owners of these H2O fancy screened single latch TP 2014s, best of luck. Looking forward to what real riders have to say about them, as opposed to website info or industry mag hype.
