Sad for the first story, my prayers and condolences to the family and friends of the deceased Harley Rider....  I have no pity for the kid in the second story,,,   He got less then deserved by the beating and hopefully learned to leave cell phones alone while driving...  The slap on his hand he'll get from the State of California would have taught him nothing.   >:(

Sunday in Fremont, CA (East Bay) as well.

Quote
FREMONT -- A motorcyclist was killed Sunday evening after colliding with a van on Fremont Boulevard, police said.
The 54-year-old Fremont resident was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on the 44000 block of Fremont Boulevard about 6 p.m. when a Chevrolet van driven by a 63-year-old Union City resident pulled from a driveway to make a left turn, according to police.
The motorcyclist hit the brakes but was unable to stop and struck the van's left door, police said. He was taken to a hospital but died there from his injuries. His name was not released pending notification of next of kin.
Alcohol or drugs did not appear to factor in the collision, police said.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call Officer Aranguren at 510-790-6800, extension 12510.

Lot of bikes out because of the beautiful weather.

Get your "Motor Running Head", out on the highway!

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men
