Wow that really is a great video.   Makes it look pretty easy.    Would even be helpful for installing heated grips!
I THINK, your TGS  is prewired for Heated Grips, You'd only have to fish the wires down the clutch side and buy the heated grips.

WOW

I have heard about it, but happy to say I have not experienced it.

I ridden to Florida at least 8 times in the last 9 years, but always in March, October or December. Thanks for the reminder!

Always befuddled me why the Thunder Beach Rally in the panhandle was twice a year....once in May and once in September. Maybe it’s different now. I haven’t kept up with it in years.

Need to stay close to the coast. A few of us rode from Deltona to St. Augustine for Easter dinner, etc. yesterday. Not a love bug in sight.  :nixweiss:
Leesburg Bike Fest this coming weekend. Could run into them inland.  >:(  We'll be doing "Jeep Beach" in Daytona instead.

Luckily they come off pretty easy. A water soaked towel laying over the area will soften them to the point they just wash right off. But you have to soak them first, otherwise it takes for ever to remove them. We live on the coast and so far have not seen them but Leesburg is always a BUGGY trip every year. I usually take A soaked towel in a large zip lok and try to get most of them off when we arrive downtown and then spend awhile after arriving back home that night. Wore a perforated leather jacket one year, it finally took a toothpick sticking it thru each perforation to remove them.
