ZUMO MOUNTING
« on: December 19, 2008, 10:16:49 AM »

An exclusive HD new Zumo faring mount is coming soon.
Probably will not fit FLHTCUSE with a faring dash pad.
More details at the winter dealers meeting.

Probably going to require putting holes in the inner fairing. :nervous: Some that have done that on previous GPS offered by the MoCo have in the end not liked them.

I was one of the those, did it on my 04 CVO and recently replaced the inner fairing. Got tired of looking at those ugly holes left behind. I plan on putting the old one in EBay shortly to see what i can muster up.

I’m hopeful that the Zumo fairing mount will allows a clean removal of the unit; it doesn’t look that way, but we’ll see. I may have posted this before but the Dash Pad will cover the holes from the fairing mounted Radar Detector and Quest or Conquest GPS.

New marketing ploy for the MoCo.  Make dash pads in yellow, orange, red, and whatever color the Jalapeno is..........so those guys don't have the black contrast of the current model.   :pimp:
