"Radio Not Calibrated" Message
« on: January 01, 2009, 04:49:29 PM »

Hey all,

Happy New Year to everyone :coolblue:

I have installed a "refurbished" Harmon Kardon on my FLHTCUSE 06 because the last radio died on me.  Harley gave me the radio and I installed it myself.  I am getting a message that say's "Radio Not Calibrated" on the radio screen when I first turn it on.  It sends out a loud beep sound every five seconds.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

As always, I appreciate the help.  This is such a good forum for those problems you just can't solve on your own :(

Thanks Jim,

I knew you would know the answer :orange:  Too bad our local dealer is 6 miles away and it is -30 degrees celcius with a ton of snow!  I guess it will have to wait until spring.  Thanks for the answer.
