Driving Lamps that look like they belong on a CVO
« on: January 02, 2012, 06:53:37 PM »

I have built a set of driving lamps that match the style of a CVO and work as planned. In the daytime the extra two low bright lights add the get noticed feature to you creating the extra safety we all want. At night the extra low level white light helps you see the road condition far and bright.

Hard to tell but assuming a bracket off the two caliper mount bolts?  If not how is the light mounted?  Hopefully something you were able to put together quickly.  If not might have spent a lot of time (and perhaps dollars) reinventing the wheel when Motolights had a similar product already out there.  Hopefully you saved a buck or three.

The light housing is the same one as the turn signal housing ( picture 3) I got them from HD for about $120, I pulled the nights out and put the LEDs and the mounts I cut from steel and chromed they attach to the two Caliper bolts. The switch is the accessory both on the dash.

What is the brand name and where did you buy them? I had the same idea except i'm going to use the turn signal relocation kit and mount them on the forks.

Thanks,
Dan

This is the bulb I used it fits into a Kuryakyn style turn signal bezel (smoked) perfect fit. This all fit into the Harley Davidson turn signal housing and connecting base.
