Just installed Rear Focal 7X10's
« on: June 09, 2013, 09:53:06 PM »

Work done by Street Noyz in San Diego. I already had the Focal KRX2 speakers in the front and was looking for that "next step. As you can see in the pics (will have to do multiple posts) they carpeted the entire bags as well.

I was worried about going to all that expense and not being able to hear the difference. I can certainly hear these at any speed...

They look great.  I bet the sound is incredible.  Are the tweeters bridged?   I'm thinking about the bags staying dry.

Ordered the "Boom Buddies" from Hog Covers which I will keep in the bag if I get stuck in the rain. I live in san Diego so doesn't happen very often.

I dont have anything to compare them to as I didnt have lid speakers before. I don't think they are that heavy and have no issue maneuvering the lids open or closed

I gotta say those Boom Buddies work great for $30. Pretty cheap insurance...

I seen his bike in person twice, those are killer speakers, I'm getting Focals in the front, Component speakers, the magnet on the stockers is almost non existent.  As i have a faulty front tweeter being 6 months old, I'm skipping the dealer and a daisy chain of days of my bike sitting there and just having it done the Focal way.

Look at the pic LOL...

Check out Street Noyz in SD. They did a amazing job with the install on both the front and rear Focals not to mention the "carpet job" they did on my bags. They are definitely not cheap but you know the saying...
