I have purchased an LED wrap around light kit for my tour pak off a forum member. The kit was on a 2010 CUSE and I just shipped the bezel off to Joe at XTREME for Ruby Red paint. I was looking at the installation instructions and it shows a template for drilling? Does anyone know how I can get my hands on this?

Also, has anyone filled both the holes that the antenna masts go in? I won't be using them so was looking for ideas. Thanks.

How about threading a couple of flag holders to the same threads as the former antennas?  I bet it would not take too much to get an aluminum rod threaded and clear coated as a flag holder that would screw in to the antenna studs....Just a thought.

I think I've heard of members using chrome button head screws to fill those holes, also some kind of emblem (I think either Twolane or Porthole may have done something like that ).... or.... you could send your TP to Joe and have them filled and TP painted so you'd never know they were there.

Then you know he can match the paint (as if that was a concern in the first place).

Ahhhhh... gotcha. Since he has it I'd check w/him and see what his suggestions were... might be able to be eliminated and painted so that they aren't noticeable.

As far as the template, if you can't find it online, ask your dealer for a set of installation instructions. It should have the template with it.

I hope to have the template by the end of the week.  Might be able to have it sent your way within a couple days.  As for plugging those holes......  I put the HD accessory LED tail lamp kit on my '09 a couple years back (same lights, but the plastic housing is stretched a bit larger to cover up the holes if using on an Ultra), and that kit came with a couple of little plastic plugs to put in the holes if you didn't want to use antennas.  Should be able to find something similar in an auto parts store I'd think.  If I can dig up the old instructions, I might be able to find the part numbers for the plugs.  I'll let you know.

Found it!  Looks like they're pretty old part numbers.  I'm also fairly certain they are a common automotive plug, but I don't have the exact measurements for you.  Here you go.

90493-83       Plug.      (you'll need 2 if not using either antenna)

Gib Thanks. The light housing is at xtreme dimension for paint so I have some time. I'd like to get it done by 4 weeks or so I've got a 3k mile trip to the Smokies starting June 20 and the extra visibility would be great!
