A lot of black, very very subtle.

l'm dis-appointed again ... was expecting at least a chrome engine....
more chrome Harley ... more chrome ...
this one from a side view looks even more like a SGS in vivid Black .... oh well...

Not my cupa tea, but if you missed out on the other colors i guess this is it until 2016. There maybe a few in showrooms for a while cant see them selling that well, even one per dealer could be to many. Keep a look out for a new BLACK 2015 CVO SG going cheap in 2016. :nixweiss:

nope
-
That's all they can do!! Very disappointing .
-
Is history repeating again? Looks a lot like the black '12 out there except for the blacked out engine. Very much like the '11 triple red SERGU and the '15 triple red SERGU.

Last night (3/6), I clicked the link and the Harley site showed the new bike and listed it as 1 of 4 paint schemes (removed the yellow/black). This morning (3/7), I clicked the link and the new black bike/color option is gone from the site.
I couldn't make out the subtle flames on the new black last night so perhaps Harley removed it from the site to fix the photo or someone did something they shouldn't have (posted too early/before official/bogus link?); however a dealer I spoke to this week was already aware of the new black as noted by many on this board.
This morning the yellow/black color option reappeared.
Update: Using my phone, I went to view in desktop mode on site link and the new black is there in place of the yellow. I took snapshot, and this photo shows the flames head on.

This morning I clicked the link (3/7) and the bike and color choice is gone, and the yellow/black reappeared. Just as the yellow/black (I own this color) doesn't appeal to many, the new black will sell but since it appeared to be too subtle w/paint, I thought Harley would price it cheaper than the original 4 choices.
I clicked on it an hour before you and it showed the new color. That was from home. Now I'm on my phone and it shows the yellow/black again.

X2.
I am a strong supporter of the color black and this just don't look right. The motor should have been chrome along with the air filter cover. Missing are the chrome mirror covers too. Nice to see they put the 2011 and 2012 tank badge on the gas tank. Without it (to me) it looks just too plain without it.

Less chrome.....they're going after the more custom look. Nice enough paint scheme.....if you haven't had enough black yet.
The bike is very nice.......for somebody else. Personally, I've had enough black...in bikes and in t-shirts.
I can remember that for many years I said I'd never own anything but a black bike....but then I also said for many years that I'd never ride one of those old man motorcycles. :P

I'm blacked out. If I see a black bike I scroll right by. I am also big wheeled out.

just looked and the new black CVOSG was still there ... no yellow one ....
-
Yeah, this morning the new black is there and the yellow is gone. Not sure why they pulled the yellow off, even if it's not available anymore, it's a color that the bike came in, could have just labelled it "limited production".
Anyway, as always, I reserved judgement until I see it in person. I did not fall for my Starfire until I saw it in person, the website looks more "brown" than gold dust on my monitor.
It's just so drastically different, it would be interesting to know how this color/bike came to be (rushed, leftover black engines, etc...)
-
I have no problem with it. I like my bikes understated. I can't say it looks like a Screamin' Eagle but that doesn't bother me. Different strokes for different folks.

Yep, I belong to that club also. :2vrolijk_21:

Another snap shot.

HD introduces a paint scheme that causes them all sorts of quality issues, replaces it with a scheme that has to cost less to produce, yet charges the same price? This looks like a SGS with a 110 and a few extras. Below is my buddy's modified SGS...looks eerily similar:

I think it's wrong that they changed the paint scheme and tank badge mid year, its just a Bastard SG IMO :confused5:
-
I'm glad I have my hard candy mercury SG

Your buddies is nicer. They should have put either contrast chrome wheels or black chrome wheels on the bew cvo sg

The new paint scheme doesn't even look like a CVO. Looks like they just took the yellow SESG and replaced the tins/bags. I agree, world of difference between your Hard Candy and this new paint scheme.

Well now that I'm back on my computer instead of my phone, the black bike shows back up. Must need to clear the cache on my phone.
