Title: Chezelised handle bars on a 2016 CVO Street Glide?
Post by: Esonhd on February 19, 2017, 10:28:18 AM
Have anyone mounted these bars on a -16 CVO SG? I,m thinkin abort Harleys 12" or Paul Yaffes 8" or 10" Monkey bars. Also have heated handgrips on the bike that I'd like to keep. According to HD they don't fit CVO:s, but they say that heated grips won't fritt either, but they surely does, so....
PY does not have CVO:s on the fitting list, but isn,t the internal wiring the same in a CVO as it is in a standard Street Glide?

Maybe the hydraulic clutch on the CVO models is the issue with not fitting?

Below is my 17 CVO Street Glide with Yaffe 14" Monkey bars.  So yes they fit.  They can't be ordered from his web site as they are not listed.  They are at Drag, or you can call yaffe and order them.  You just have to specify CVO, Hydraulic clutch.  I also added the 17 CVO limited heated grips to mine.

Here is my 16" SG CVO with 12" LA Chopper Twin Peaks. No problems with the install, but I do not have heated grips either.

What did you use to cover the holes left in the fairing from the stock mirrors?  Thanks

RK1679,

Harley selling a kit to fill the hole when you remove the fairing mounted mirrors. $9 dollars and change.

Ok, seems like it will fit then, and the Yaffe bars (and HD:s) are also 1/4" thicker, so all the internal wiring should be easier ........?
Thanks for the tips!

Heated grips do not come on a CVO Street Glide for the factory.  I had them installed after I got the bike.

RK1679,

Like Harleyrules says, I used the Harley kit (plugs). They work fine.
