S&S custom built me e V124 LC motor. It has 4.125" bore, 4.625 " Stroke, Dished pistons from the T124LC Twin cam motor. S&S used a slightly larger CC head to get the mechanical compression to 10:1 and has a 585 cam. Cylinders are black non highlighted. Super G carb.
I finalized my exhaust set up ordered a set of S&S® Power Tune Dual Headers for 1995-2008 Touring Models - Chrome, D and D 1995-2016 4"TOURING SLIP-ON MUFFLER WITH VORTEX 2.5" BAFFLE and Performance Machine Slash Elite Exhaust Chrome Tips
This should let the S&S V124 LC breath. I will post pics when done. but here is the motor pics

Ordered A Primo Rivera 6 speed O.D. FLH complete transmission and a Rivera Clutch /Basket combo. 5" speedo/tach, P.M rear brake assembly, Ohlins Fork Cartridges KC 101 Fork Cartridge Kit for FLH and FLT Touring Models, I already have a set of older Ohlins rear shocks that I will use.. Once motor is broken it it should go fast, good suspension to ride good and good brakes to stop faster.
I will be happy. If I get bored I still have my FXR4 CVO with V111

That sounds like a great project. Have been kicking myself since January when I passed on a touring frame and a set of 95th anniversary Road Glide tins that were cheap enough I should have bought it all. Everyone needs their "next project." You got yours and I missed mine :drink: :huepfenlol2: :2vrolijk_21: .

A Bike is Never Finished! There is always something to do or change even if it's minor. This is my last Bike build, because I am 63 yrs old. I am going Whole Hog! Lol. There are other things I will do and will post more pics when done.

My last from-scratch build was my Road King. That was fun. Bare from up powder coating 88,811 different parts and collecting pieces for I'm not really sure how long now. It's nice to make it just the way you want it to begin with rather than start with Harley's slate and have to take off and take a loss on so many pieces.
I'm seeing old fartedness on my nearer horizon but I could still have another project in my. A wicked Evo build would be a spectacular hoot. Enjoy the toy! Can't wait for the ride reports :2vrolijk_21: .

" I still have my FXR4 CVO with V111"
Hows that 111" holding up? How many miles? Heard they were very smooth.
-
The V111 in my FXR4 CVO is very smooth. I have almost 70k on motor, 95k on bike. I am extremely happy with it. When I bought the Road King to make the wife happy I wanted more power because there is a big weight difference between the FXR and RK with Saddlebags, tour pack and batwing. The 111 is very good in town and highway. Summer day oil temperature 200 max

S&S V124 LC Baker 6 speed Over Drive Baker Plus one oil pan Baker 9 plate street clutch
-
Left side. You can see the Baker oil pan better. Gearing is 25 motor,
36 clutch basket, 33 transmission, 70 rear pulley and the Baker. 86 Over Drive gearset. It should go pretty good and I have the Cubic Inches.
-
Good to see you've already got that upcoming quarter time posted :2vrolijk_21: .
-
Performance Machine Rear Differential four piston caliper with Contrast Cut. It's a shame the the right saddlebag will cover it up.
Oh well. The rear brake should work well. Waiting on front brake calipers.
-
Primary is on, pic shows the Baker 9 plate Street Clutch. Very nice!
-
Pic of Baker 6 speed O.D. gearset, Plus 1 oil pan 5 qts. Chrome 1.4k electric starter
-
Another pic. Next pic will be a few days from now. Waiting for a Ohlins front fork cartridges then the 14 " apes and Wilwood GP310 front polished brake calipers.
-
Getting closer!
-
Tour pac. The Flaming Hog heads glow when headlights hit it from the rear. Very Cool! I don't know how to rotate the previous pic. It was correct on my phone but didn't do right when posted
-
Woody's Batwing Fairing. Mounted speakers and Multimedia Player. I am in the process of writing it. I made a stand from 4×4" and 2x6.
-
Nice stand, I love the BLUE, and :orange: :mango: :bananarock: :drink:FOUR speakers in your face. B

I honestly don't think I will hear the stereo at highway speeds greater than 55. The motor has RB Racing LSR 2-1 C style exhaust.
I have them and they ate going on soon. I hope to do the motor heat cycles mid week then start breaking the motor in.
-
Getting closer to being done!

In this pic you can see the Wilwood GP310 polished brake calipers.
Using the stock master cylinder and Motion Pro brake lines, clutch and throttle cables. Brake lines and clutch cable not installed yet.
But getting Much closer!

I couldn't find a good spot for a set of Howard's Dynamic Duo Air Horns. I made a rubber mount on the left front crashbar. The compressor and relay I mounted behind the right panel.
-
The compressor, I used a 1/4" fuel line routed under the Dash, down the right side of neck and under the crashbar to air horns
-
I have 310 miles on the motor break in so far. The Bake Plus One Oil
Pan holds 5 qts instead of 4 makes the motor Run Cool. The Motor also runs cooler due to the 10:1 compression and the Front head near exhaust temp is 190 measured with a infared gun. The rear head near the exhaust is 225 and the Baker oil pan is 148 degrees.
The Bike handles very well wit the Front Ohlins fork cartridges and the YSS Z366-TRL 320mm shocks and Mustang Super Wide Touring Seat. Very Happy. Waiting for 500 miles and the Love Bugs to go away before installing the Batwing and Tour Pac. I didn't want to put a lot if excess weight in the beginning of the break in.

Got the Batwing and Tour Pac mounted, gotta wire them up now

Another pic
-
Bike has 305 miles on it since the build. Gotta finnish some wiring today and tomorrow I will put 200 miles on it the go get the 500 mole service. Bike handles really well before the Batwing and Tour Pac. I hope it will do as well with the added items. RB Racing LSR 2-1 are not as loud as the Custom stepped 2:1 on my FXR4 CVO with S&S V111. But it still sounds great , a little different tone. But very acceptable. My Brother, Don and Wife likes it too.
