Hello All,
My Name is Scott, and you can tell by my username I am in to the older stuff. I have Two Pans, I am building a Knuck, and my Mrs. rides an FXR I built.
A few months ago a left turner took me and  my passenger out on my 2003 Electraglide STD. I was fortunate, we lived, my Bagger did not. I replaced my Bagger, which I had built, with an 2017 CVO Streetglide. Candy Cobalt/Indigo Ink. V&H Power Duals and 4.5 mufflers, No Cats, no glass in the slip ons. TTS tuner. Color matched Chopped tour pack, stock and a custom Le Pera two up seat and passenger floorboards.
I wanted the best machine I could find in my budget, and this was it. Going from a 2003 TC to this M8 machine was as big of a jump as from my 58  Panhead to the 2003.
It has had the oil pump replaced, before failure, under warranty. I already added Cycle Dynamic LED front turn signal/running lights. Next are Aux fog lights, Kuryakyn curved license plate, and saddlebag LED lights. Hopefully I won't get hit again.
For comfort 14" Wild One Chubbys and a Corbin hollywood Solo are scheduled in the next few weeks.
I absolutely love this bike so far and look forward to learning from your experiences.

Congratulations on the new CVO but sorry about the consequences that got you to the new '17 CVO.  As you stated, you and your passenger made it but the '03 didn't.  The Lord was with you that day, sir.
