Anyone ever used this flooring in their garage? I have a detached 2.5 car garage that's needs a good makeover. Binx found this stuff and it looks pretty nice. Looks pricey too. I guess you have to contact them for pricing. I can't find it on their site. What do ya'll think of this stuff? ;)

Is it oil leak resistant and will they have an antifreeze leak resistant product in the future?  :nixweiss:

JUST had to say that huh?  :bananarock:

Honestly, it looks great but too pretty for my garage.

Selected Harley Stores sell the race deck.. I elected to go with a 2 part epoxy paint (Harley orange of course) on my  motorcycle garage floor. Its 25' X 25' and I used 2 gallons. Virtually indestructable and is not effected by chemicals, oil etc & my bike lift doesn't scratch it when wheeling around. The bike hoist/lift won't wheel around very well on race deck. The Muffman

You can a similiar product at Lowe's in black and orange without the HD logos.  It's about 2/3 the price.  Which is still pricey when compared to the epoxy paint flooring mentioned earlier.  I've seen the floors installed and they look quite cool, but for that price I'll stick with the Epoxy.

i have it in mine and it does look good but it has a few drawbacks other than the price. its noisy when you walk on it klomp klomp klomp. you cant hose it off because water will get under and smell. you have to mop. hot stuff like slag or similar will melt it. its easy to install and if you shop it you can save on the cost. its all sold by dealers but shipped from factory in salt lake i think

I had some but chucked it for the reasons Van mentioned...I melted it, I grew icky crud under it and had a hard time draggin the lift across it so out it went.  It wasn't the HD crap either, it was someone else's but I can;t rememebr the name.

I will 2 part epoxy paint this fall when it cools down to the 70's again.  Good stuff, I have it utilized at the plant I work at and it takes a beatin..

With that kind of shine, is it slippery when wet like concrete sealer is?  I've learned to walk very carefully when barefoot in my wet garage.

It can as slippery as goose shiite with water or oil on it....
I added a non-skid, glass bead media to our surfaces at work.

I think most of the 100% solids products are worthy.  I have several spots where different ones have been used at work.
The prep is the beeatch..We were lucky with out turbine deck covering as it was easy to isolate.
There was plenty of time to surface prep with muriatic acid and sanding with floor machines.
I'll try and get some pics on this thread.

I can't get my chit together enough to do it at home although.
Too busy having fun but I need to, the Oldster deserves it.
Sorry to be of no help whatsoever.

Chuck,
I just got off the phone with them in Mich. There are two dealers near us...Cartersville and Cumming.  The two coat satin is about $400 and the gloss is about twice that.  I am checking on installation costs.

Chuck the U-Coat it dealer "Floors in Motion" is coming to my house Thursday at 2 pm if you want to come over and talk to him.  Seems like a knowledgeable guy on the phone.
Let me know.

The floors I've painted with epoxy had crushed/ground Walnut shell in it for a non-slip surface.

Race Deck is expensive and slick when wet.
