With & without the King Tour Pak
« on: March 09, 2004, 11:10:37 PM »

Here's the photos with and without the King Tour Pak.  (No back rest because I'm getting the Corbin Dual Tour seat with backrest).

Goes back to the rear speaker thing,  She says they will be on the bike.  [smiley=confused5.gif]  So it would be better just to solid mount it rather than deal with wiring it to be removable.  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Ditto...what he said. Whenever I get my friggin camera back I'll post some pics of my 03 SERK fully dressed(for my boss...uhhh wife)  and fully naked(for me [smiley=6.gif]). Stuff comes off faster that it goes on. 5 minutes (including lowers) on my serk. That includes front batwing; tourpack; and lowers. Have quick connects on some lights I have mounted under my toupak to light up my chrome at night [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif].

I went the permanent mount route.  After having my '02 EG Classic I got really spoiled with having a king tour-pak all the time.  My wife and I ride with full-face helmets and it's just too easy to stick them and jackets, etc. in the tour-pak at stops.  I'll agree the bike looks better without, but the functionality of the tour-pak can't be beat!

JCZ's comment about the radios on these bikes is right on.  My wife can hear this baby no problem where with the '02 she was complaining all the time about not being able to hear.  Gotta love the CVO mentality - even the radio has MORE POWER! [smiley=bigok.gif]

JCZ,

That bike is just beautiful! I remember when I first saw one in a dealer about two months ago. At the time I was thinking about building a custom bagger and I thought to myself "Wow that bike is exactly what I want to end up with"

Great lookin ride. Enjoy it.

Well the tour pak may not make it before the bike,  so she will have to ride without rear speakers maybe that would convince hear she does'nt need em.  [smiley=nervous.gif]  You guys make it sound like it is loud enough I will hope so.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Mine will be in soon. Trading in 00 FLTRSEI with 47,000. Looks good with the pack. Gonna do the same with a detachable pak. Was thinking of justing buying black tourpack to match since I wouldn't use as much but after seeing yours it looks like it's worth the differents in cost. Your picture looks like my place but with a black 04 Avalanche in the drive way.

You dug that one up from the bone pile.  I posted that in Mar. 04.........70,000 miles ago. ;D

But I agree, they all look better without a tour pack.  The tour pack is a utility. :2vrolijk_21:

O.K. after that comment I had to go back and see those pics myself.  Yes, it was a beautiful bike......Harley still hasn't came close to the 04 SEEG in paint scheme since. :nixweiss:

Yea, there are probably thousands of pics of that bike on this forum.......do a search using advanced search (just put "SEEG" in the subject and my name in the "by" box).
