Tiny Buffers

Hello all,

I there such a thing as a small buffing machine, perhaps a one handed operation, small, very small, that is about 1/3rd the size of a regular car buffer?  Either an orbital, and/or a 1200rpm one or so.  I was wondering becasue there are a lot of nooks and cranies on one of my cars, and now bikes, that would benfit from a unit for rubbing compounds and polishes to get into those more exotic curves etc.

Yep there sure is. I have an air operated Matco buffer with 5 different size pads. Works great. You can find them on Ebay under the tools section.

Found one at auto zone 5 inch orbital works great made by Road Expeditions model #4526 I like it better than my 10 inch orbital....

Something else to consider is using a Dremel tool with it's small buffer pads

Porter Cable orbital can use 3" pads and the buffer itself is very small. I bought my buffer years ago but it, and the pads can be found on the i-net at Classic Auto/Tampa (use google). They are mainly a i-net co but do walk-ins if you are close and give you a discount for face-to-face.

Try the 3" DA from Griot's Garage (griotsgarage.com).  It might be just what you need...

Try the Griot's Garage 3" DA buffer.  It worked great for me...
