I thought twin cooling was air and water cooling  ...on the water cooled bikes it still has the cooling fins on heads and cylinders

I think if I could find a way to make the financial end of it work for me, I'd be willing to be a guinea pig and ride one of these new CVO Ultras.

Unless Harley has screwed up a system that others have been using successfully for years (again) the linked brakes is a worthwhile change.  For 99.5% of us it's an improvement.  All the stylistic differences will meet the usual "love it" or "hate it" responses as everyone applies their own sense of taste.  The water cooling is about as minimal as they could do it and still apply a system.  The new forks, however, should be a general affirmative.  And, finally, sealed bearings in the neck!  Now when the dealers don't grease they'll finally actually be doing what they're supposed to.

I'd keep your '12... it's much prettier. And, it's ORANGE! Can't touch that...

The errors currently all over the factory website are amusing.  Obviously Mother Harley's web geeks are over-stressed or have absolutely zero content information about the products they are posting and have no editorial oversight by anyone that does.

The water pump cover has a picture of their new Baker competing over bloated over-sized oil pan.  Several other pieces on their site have the wrong pics attached right now.  So project Rushmore really was Rush More.  It's just that they rushed on the web design work too.  Guess if the errors have to start somewhere it's better they start on the web rather than on the road....

SO... if I buy that part for $79... do I get that big pan???

It's so early, I was too busy being confused by the lack of "chrome" on a chrome part to realize it was an oil pan.  I need a nap! :nixweiss:

So the Vents are just fancy plastic "ram" air intakes....From HD:  New Fairing Lowers
There’s no such thing as a minor irritation when you’re going to be experiencing it for tens of thousands of miles. The little things make a difference. Like the way the wind comes around your fairing lowers. We’ve got the new fairing lowers dialed in just right, thanks to more wind tunnel and real world riding tests than we’ve ever done before. They’re also vented so you can let some air through when the road gets hot. You’ll appreciate them more with each passing mile.

All the details for 2014 (well....most of them)  http://projectrushmore.harley-davidson.com/en_US

You're asking that like it's anything new for their function?  Only difference this year is they are (slightly) vented lowers that also hold a radiator.  That might be very special for the wind rushing up your pant leg....

Got to say.
They did make a great deal of positive changes this year.
We all bitch they do not do enough every year, this time they stepped up.
There are things I like and do not care for.
I did have a new one on order till I herd about the cooling.
I then purchased a 2013 Anniversary only because I do not want to be the test pilot for this system.
In a year or so I would def pick one up, should have most of the bugs out of it by then one would hope.

Just my 2 cents.
