Just picked up my 2014 CVO Limited and got a silver flash drive with it instead of the gold key. I am told the 2015 CVOs don't come with it. If that's true why not? No one can seem to answer that question.

2014 CVO's came with flash drive. 2015 CVO's come with the Gold Key again.

I personally find the flash drive a lot more practical than another gold key. I submit that the MoCo should provide both.

The 09 CVO Fatbob came with a gold key that sits gather dust on the shelf, worthless to me. The 2014 CVO Limited came with a flash drive that I use every time I ride. I don't need trinkets.

I got a gold key with my 2011.5 Ultra and the flash drive with my 2014 Limited. Flash drive much more useful. Key still sits in box on shelf. Flash drive used daily on new bike $:-\$

I got the flash drive as well but as my first CVO I would like the coin and key as well. If it sits on my shelf so be it but why scrimp on something like that on a $40K bike....

I also have a gold key from my flhxse3 that i no longer own, fits ignition #3783hd.

Dr.D I agree with you. My first cvo was in 2012 and I got a gold key...hell I would be hard pressed to try and find the thing. I've seen guys who wear them on a gold chain around their necks...if that is what they are used for then I am glad I don't know where mine is.

What is so special about the H-D flash drive?... Other than it's probably overpriced, will not operate properly (and you will be told they all do that), and they will not honor the warranty.

And, you can't even mod it it............. no extra chrome available........ no stage IV kit and no big bore......... sits in my drawer.

Over 16 GB it is large. I have over 500 songs on it and it is about 25% used. It has a skull on it and it is heavy and has a nice feel to it. It is very cool. Sure it is not worth a ton of money but neither is the gold key.

I use the flash drive all the time. So far no issues. You can load songs etc. and you can use it to upload software upgrades to the bike (I haven't done that yet). The Gold keys are cool but not useful. The covers are a nice item but I didn't use that either. Too big to haul on trips and at home she sits in the garage. To date, I much prefer the flash drive.

Seems like only Firesam23 and myself really want one of these CVO flashdrives...so if a couple of you very nice CVO guys would get us one we would be most thankful...how about cost, shipping and even lunch...

Back in 2012 you got the Gold Key and the I Pod / So in 2014 you should get the Gold key and the Flash Drive, HD gives you less and we pay more

My 11 Softail convertible even got a crappy little ipod that only said cvo on it. Did get the gold key, don't know where it is. I sold that bike, kept the key and the cover. Never even opened the cover up.

Waiting on a 15 Limited to get here. Hope I like it better than that softail.

No one replied so I offered $100 plus shipping to anyone willing to sell one and I got a message sent them the money paypal and they shipped it to me. I have been looking since May to buy one on here and Ebay. But no luck until I posted the I was willing tot pay. Another member was gracious enough to help me out. Also did get one off of Ebay guy listed under 2014 CVO Skull drive so don't always do normal search people list stuff wrong all the time. My brother has that one. Dang! If those things are selling for $450 I may have to part with mine. It's just collecting dust in a drawer. I'm afraid of using it because I think it would disappear if left in the fairing cubby.
