I'll bet the Derby Cover was a LOT less painful than it's design inspiration!

Thanks for the compliments all.  The tat was done by the owner (name is Grady) of Advanced Body Art in my home town, Tallahassee, Fl.  I've been out of town for a while, but will be back home in a week or so...I'll post a photo of the derby cover on the bike when I return.  Oh, and the cost of the cover was $270.00, which included an $80.00 artwork design/setup fee.  The photos don't do it justice.  It is the nicest chrome piece I have had done, and I've had numerous custom engraved pieces done.  The only down side is it took three months to get it...

I promised a couple of pics of the derby cover.  I just got it back from the shop after a top end rebuild in an attempt to stop the oil burning ( I think we found the cause ). First, a close-up...
