Dealer told me that so far, no softail had the defect but almost every other did. Strange.....

Anyways... She's back in the garage, resting for winter season.

I picked up my Ultra Limited on the 26th of Oct. Got the call it was in on the same day ( 16th ? ) the clutch recall was announced, so I had to wait for repairs before it could be picked up. Right from the start, it didn't feel right. Had a chatter or vibration when taking off. Put it on the dyno with about 225 miles for tuning. Clutch was slipping pretty good, so I gave the OK to install the SE spring. All that did was change the release point and make the pull harder. The chatter was still there, plus it was stating to crepe at a stop and neutral was impossible to find. Went back to the dyno at 350 miles for a quick update. Third run the clutch blew out. Never knew how bad one smells when it goes out. Warranty is iffy from initial contact as clutches aren't normally warrantied. Hoping for the best.

Your clutch should be covered. Mine started to slip at 2,000 miles on my old 2013 Ultra Limited. Dealer replaced under warranty. Quick in and out.
