Anyone found a saddlebag liner for this '15 that works with the speakers plugs and amp that gets in the way?? I don't want that tufted stuff, just something simple and functional.
-
very nice looking!

Congratulations! :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Nice ride ( but I may be bias )

Very nice well done on your purchase.
Still the nicest Street Glide so far, HaHa same as mine. Awesome color :2vrolijk_21:

Good luck with the new bike......and hope you have better luck than I did finding a saddlebag liner. I used the glue in, trim to fit stuff. The CVO is the only bike with the amp and those big plugs in the bags so no company that I found has made something specific for them

The placement of those plugs and amps was a basic design fault on the '15's imo - damn annoying. I'd be interested if anyone has actually relocated them which seems the better long term fix.

So, finally got to change out the battery for the Big Crank Deka ets30l.
Went in smoothly and without any issues or alarm issues. Thank God!
Took a nice ride to the north short of Long Island by the water and she ran great!
Getting used to the inflotainment system too.
It's a behemoth though!

Congrats. She's a beauty. You'll get used to throwing her around corners in short order...
-
I was told yesterday but my colleagues that I was already leaning her pretty well. Great first long ride.

Good lookin' Ride! Really look good with a chopped tour-pak! Let the spending begin! But that's just me. Later--HUBBARD

Road out to Greenport for breakfast. Know some twisty roads by Exit 68.. Mill Rd and North St. Next time, I'll hit you up so you can join us Mike!

I went out to Yaphank yesterday for the Full Throttle party....a little disappointed, but a nice ride.
Breakfast runs are sometimes tough for me...I still like to sleep in some days on the weekends especially after a late night...

Bike is now setup the way I like her. Got Suffolk Harley to replace the SiriusXM antenna to the updated version today under warranty without an appointment. Who knew?! Thanks to Phil at Suffolk Harley. Went to activate the SiriusXM radio and found out the original owner never activated the Free 3 month subscription. Bonus!
While waiting for the antenna swap, I got to see the new '17 SGS. I saw the updated saddlebag bolts which are actually clever levers the spin on without tools. May consider them for the $47.00
Already have the bagger bolts on, but need the proprietary tool to remove them. Weather was perfect for a great ride on my day off today!

Very Nice !! Good Luck with the New Ride !!!!

I believe he's speaking of the one in this post - Re: Activating Sirius XM on '15 CVO SG « Reply #18 (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=108933.msg1398281#msg1398281).

The stock XM antenna sucks and was replaced by an updated (larger) antenna. It's the same Part # with the letter "A" on the end of it. Can't remember the part # exactly but do search on this forum and you will find it easily. If your bike's under warranty you should be good, if not they retail $90 but can be bought for about $65 online. I have heard they have really improved reception. Gonna try it out later.

Picked mine up last Sept (Same color as yours ;D ) we have some great twisties here in Germany, have already grinded off about an 1/8 inch off the feelers under the floor board. Make sure you watch those as they seem to loosen up after contact with the road.
-
Very nice! Enjoy the ride.
-
Ride safe, enjoy, i think you got the best color.
My Sirius radio reception is spotty to suxs, i may check with HD dealer on a warranty replacement, thanks for the info.

Really happy with her. Just did the 1000 mile service with East Coast Superbikes. Dennis and Jimmy are great and fair. About $380 cash (plus techs tip). But the difference is, I believe they did everything they promised to do (Amsoil only) and I know the exact tech that did the work!

Looks great, congratulations!

Thank you. I see you run a solo and backrest. Which one are you using and would have any close ups to post. I am having a tough time finding one that works well and looks good with a solo seat.
-
It just a standard HD seat that I purchased for my previous CVO Road King that works with the Street Glide. At my age, it really helps out and looks great. It's adjustable and I will try to get a close up picture.

Thanks for that. I really wanted to see the HD version too.
