What's the big deal? If we all liked vanilla, then Baskin Robbins would be chit out of luck. I remember an old saying... TO EACH HIS OWN.

I don't really care if you paint it purple pin-striped(cuz we all know only black bikes are cool :P), strip the fairing off, put white walls on it and swap out the hard saddlebags for leather ones... ain't mine and I don't have to make nare one payment on your scooter. Do what you want to with it.

It's like those urban cars with the 24" wheels on 'em (you know the ones I'm talking about). I wouldn't build one, but I'm glad somebody did. I'll bet you that cat's as passionate about his ride as I am about mine. And in the end, that's a good thing. I bet he don't like my big ol' Ford sittin' on 40" mudders, but he don't have too either.

It's all good bro. The way I see it, at least you're behind handlebars. :bananarock:

JCZ is exactly right.  I have a King Tour Pak that is detachable, and the ONLY time it gets attached is when I'm heading out for a long trip somewere where I need the storage.  It just plain ruins the look of the bike, but is very functional when you need.  Thus I still don't understand the need for a "chopped" Tour Pak :nixweiss:

Any way, my TP is in the garage; where it will stay most likely until Sturgis :soapbox:

Don't get me wrong guys...... I have a King Tour Pack (for storage on the trips) and even a luggage rack.  However, you'll not see them on my bike unless I'm using them for what they were designed for and certainly not for detracting from the appearance of the back of my SESG. :2vrolijk_21:

Feel the same way about the KTP on my SEEG. It's about the only totally "functional" piece I have on my bike. I have left it pretty much stock other then adding a luggage rack... again another functional item.

Am I missing something here? Isn't that why we chose the SG? I like to set up my bike based what I'm doing that weekend. The SG is great for that and on Monday I'm driving a to work clean and easy.

I have a tour pack still and the t roller bag (awesome!) still waiting for my Corbin solo (just liks JC's) but got the HD solo rack and can't wait to use it. I also have a sadleman mid size baskrest pac that was big enough to take on a two day trip to the Dragon's tale in NC. I flew from Boston to Atlanta and the shoulder straps were great at the airport.

I did change out the crash bar and put on lowers and was planning on taking them off in June but I'm not sure I do like them so they may stay permanently.

I have noticed that with a CVO (my first) you really do have to think about accessories before you purchase them. I got some inner fairing trim and it looked terrible.

I don't think that looks bad at all!! In fact it looks pretty darn sweet.
