I am a believer in Corbin.  They seem to be a great seat for me.  I can't give you any advise on any other brand because I haven't tried them.

I have had Mustang seats on several Road Kings and chose Mustang again for my SESG. I use the solo w/rider backrest and have two pillions. I use the 8.5" when riding solo to keep the low, stock look and the 13.5" when riding with the bride. Changing them is a two minute operation. Mustang makes several other good choices, some for taller riders.

I find the Mustang's rider backrest to be easily and widely adjustable while riding. And, Mustang's quality, delivery and customer service is excellent. Many report problems dealing with Corbin from afar. Though I've never had to do it, Mustang will exchange or refund a seat if you don't like it. (If you buy directly from them.) I don't believe this is true of other manufacturers.

You'll find passionate supporters of Corbin, Mustang and C&C on this forum.

I've posted elsewhere on the forum, but to make it easy, I've included two photos with this thread. One with the 13.5" pillion and one with the 8.5". Hopefully, the administrator can combine the photos into a single post.

Those seats look great!!!  :2vrolijk_21: I think that may be what I'm looking for.  It looks like the rider seat sits you higher and it looks more firm than the stock seat, is this true?  I am looking for a seat that will sit me up an inch and a half or two inches higher.  Plus that seat looks like it has more support in the thigh/inner thigh area.  Which model Mustang seat are you running there?

It's at most 1" higher. I use the solo w/rider backrest (there's only one). Mustang has some new one-piece seats that look like they might work better for taller guys. I'm only 5'9" w/ 30" inseam...

I don't have any problem with the stock seat but wanted a solo.  I like the C&C, good styling, comfort, customer service, price.  I've had Mustang in the past and it was nice as well.  I'm 6'3", the seat is comfortable to me, maybe an inch narrower and probably little lower.

Heated Corbin Dual Tour is what I went with on my SG.. 21K and loving every mile.
Much more comfy than the unheated one I had as they use an extra layer of foam over the coils.
