LilBear...How tall are you? Why did you choose to gain an inch over the stock 7" shield? Thanks.

Doc, I'm 6'1" with a fairly long torso and the 8" works great.  I had previously played with Windvest shields and found that the 8" worked best for my height with my wife riding passenger, but now have found the Freedom Shield just works better!  If I were riding solo, the 7" Freedom would have been plenty of height without question, but with the 8" height, we both ride in a great turbulence free pocket going down the road.  We typically do longer rides and a variety of speeds throughout the ride day.  For me, the 8" Freedom was the perfect choice.

That's some good intel...I'm just one RCH under 6' and was considering stayin' with the 7" height, but I ride two-up almost as much as I do solo...I'm thinkin' I might just gain that inch as well...Thanks!

Yes, I am using the Rumble collection for the passenger boards.  The part numbers for the Rumble Collection inserts are: 51502-09 and 51510-09 (left and right).  I also used the Ultra style adjustable mounts: 50768-07 and the ribbed pans: 50357-04.

Bought a klockwerks 8.5 windshield on ebay. ($80.00) I am 6'2'' with a 34" inseam so I sit rather tall in the saddle. The 8.5 was a little to tall for me, :nixweiss: so I decided to cut it down. Not as hard as I thought it would be. I took 1 1/2 inches off, works perfect for me.

It's 8 1/4 inches from top to the center of the screw.

Can you put a windshield bag on when using a Clockworks shield?  I'd hate to be riding without one.

I know you can run 3 bags with the 8.5 windshield. Probably 2 with the smaller ones.

8 Inch Freedom Shield - cannot recommend highly enough

Best service I have encountered in a long time & incredibly reasonably priced

So true - was amazed where the air was coming from - would you have a part number from that good sir?

If you put your hand to either side and the front of the gas tank you will find a lot of air coming up. Harley make a chrome fork wind deflector for around $30 that does wonders in cutting down air and turbulance

I have a 8.5 inch Klock Werks, I am 6' 1" and the buffeting is bad not sure why. Will be trying some others out this year.
