Title: ANYONE HERE KNOW OF AN M8 CAM CHAIN TENSIONER UPGRADE?
Post by: CJ CYCLE on February 18, 2019, 01:56:32 AM
Anyone here aware of a cam chain tensioner upgrade available for the M8?  Can't seem to find one.  Fueling makes one for TC's.

I haven’t seen one.  Not sure if there is even a market for them, yet.  The hydraulic tensioner from the TC were very reliable.  If H-D stuck with the same material for the M8, the only reason to upgrade would be after a lot of miles of wear.

Was at a show last weekend with S&S, Fueling, Cyco, and Zippers wasn't there but I saw nothing as far as a m8 chain tensioner.

Need for an aftermarket product tends to have little bearing on supply by the aftermarket in the automotive market.  If the aftermarket can define a solution for a problem that either does or does not exist it usually tries to supply that solution.
