U-Haul.  Tell them you'll drop the truck off in Pennsacola, FL. Then you can ride the bikes across I-10 east to I-75 South to the Daytona exit.  Ride Safe. We'll ee you at Destination Daytona.

tell me how to tie a bike down in in a U-Haul .they only have side tie downs half way up the wall. I did it once before got stuck in a snow storm in California  .but it was not a good deal :-\

and your right steve could take a few days off and drag us part of the way then come along with his fugly RG to daytona :huepfenjump3:

U-Haul has (open) bike trailers.  Closed is better, but...

That is why I feel lucky that Steve finished mine up yesterday and I was able to leave there about noon yesterday before the next round of snow and ice hit. I had to ride through some rain to get it done but it was worth it. I need to give a shout out to the Harley shop in Alexandria Louisiana. When I got there I stopped to ask where the closest old school self service car wash was because the bike was a disaster after riding through the rain and sand covered roads in Dallas. They said don't worry about it just pull your bike back here we will take care of it free of charge. I told them thanks and I will buy a shirt for that!!

Is waiting a couple of days an option? If you can wait until Saturday temps will rise to the mid 50's and you could bundle up and roll out.

Rent a U haul van large with a loafing ramp enough for both bikes.  I did this with one bike and with the slats on the walls was able to secure bike for a 350 mile trip with no problem at all. When you get to warm weather drop it off unload and ride on.
