Thanks for ALL your replys, I have the small bottle to carry on my trike, the big spray bottle for the garage, and the 32 oz refill bottle of Bugslide, so I (and bignutted) will use it on our ride if it needs, and when we get home.  Thanks again for all the quick replys, I guess I mow the lawn today and not hide in the garage putting on Bugslide....lol

I switched from Bugslide to Royal Blue Detailer.  Bug removal is the same but the Royal Blue leaves a better shine.

Ok, having used Bugslide after reading all the pro comments on it, I just don't see the hype.  I find it can streak a bit too.  I'm not talking about for removing bugs, but as a general quick detailer.  Thoughts?

That has not been my experience. Are you wiping it on and immediately wiping it off or waiting for it to dry? I wipe it on w/one microfiber cloth and immediately wipe it off w/another... haven't experienced any streaking at all.

I wipe it off immediately as you do.  Do you use it on chrome and paint as I do?
I'm not talking about bug removal, more for polishing purposes and to remove light dust.

Yes, I do... Are you waiting until the bike cools down (especially the chrome engine parts)? I use it after each ride (as long as I don't get caught in the rain). I put the bike up, plug in the battery tender, let it cool down (hour or more), then get a cold drink and go use the product on the bike while I enjoy the cold beverage :beerchug: After that I put the cover on it.

And are you using a clean microfiber?

My experience is like Gary's.  Although My cold beverages start flowing the moment I get back from a ride, not an hour later.  :P
