Thought I'd toss a poll out to help with the final selection. I've checked several other choices with the DMV, such as the obvious "FXR 3" and a few others which were taken, so I've narrowed it down to these 4. I think I have a favorite, but cast a vote for yours and we'll see where we end up. Gonna make a decision by tomorrow, so vote NOW! :2vrolijk_21: ;D

I like that one, but it has to be 1, 2, 3 or 4 letters plus 1-99, or 5 letters plus 1-9 for a "personalized plate" and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 letters or 1-999 for a "vanity plate." Could get "BLUFXR" but that's sorta generic. :-\

How about "HDFXR 3"? I don't like the space between the "R" and the "3", but that's Illinois for you.
Ah to heck with it. I'm liking CVO FXR more and more. ;D

Not too swooft on the last choice. Sorta hokey. CVO EVO gets my vote, because you get the rarity and the CVO moniker in one plate.

I thought you wanted the SERG? :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2: If you want them both, I'd be willing to make you a package deal on that and the FXR3. Heck, I'd even drop my price on the SERG all the way to S/B/B's $75,000 if I could sell 2 of them at the same time. :o ::) :P

Not to nitpick but the CVO didn't start with SE parts until the following year, 2000.
Of course, Brian could start down the same road I traveled and select a nice array of SE parts for his FXR3 in order to make the license plate accurate. ;)
Sure does make those FXR's more fun to ride....... ;D

Thanks to everyone for the votes! I went with the overwhelming majority, "CVO FXR," which was my favorite going in. But, because my current, generic plate information hadn't yet been updated on the IL Secretary of State's website until today, I was just now able to order the plate and started having second thoughts about going with "CVO EVO." I thought it might go along with theme of the "CVO 103" on the SEEG a bit better. But I ended up going with my early favorite after looking over the poll results again. :2vrolijk_21:
Will take a photo for possible use in the CVO license plate poster once the plate gets together with the bike.
