Maybe on Jap bikes but not much on Harleys. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Brian

Lots on Harleys
Besides you can't know your competition if all you read about is Harleys.
I have always thought the Jap bikes have only made the Harley's better!

In fact the first time I ever saw slash up mufflers they were in a magazine on a Honda Shadow!

Thanks for the ideas, everyone.  Keep 'em coming.  Winter's getting closer and it takes a month or so to get a new subscription going.   [smiley=beerchug.gif]

A couple of you guys have mentioned Thunder Press.  I've heard good things about that one before, but somewhere I got the impression that it is somehow a kind of a regional (west coast) publication.  Is it at all specific to that area of the country in any way?

Yeah, 'er 'uh, hd2003,
One of the Greatest Coaches (Basketball) of our time was John Wooden, IMO.  One of his assistant Coaches invited Coach Wooden to observe the competition with him, to identify their strenghts, and weaknesses.  Coach Wooden said, "No.  Don't care what the competition is doing.  If I prepare these Boys to Win with the best equipment, best training, best attitude, and their best performance every time they play, the Scoreboard will always be in our favor at the end of the Game."  That was John Wooden.  Then, there's everybody else.  Hell, Chip, we ARE the Competition!  There endeth the lesson.  Later--HUBBARD
