Inner Fairing Question

Hey guys, need some help from all my expert friends (of which there are many on this site).

Helping a friend who owns an 07 Street Glide.  Needs to replace damaged inner fairing - paint/coating coming off and looks really bad.  Another friend who has an 08 (possibly 09) ultra has offered him his inner fairing since he installed a painted inner fairing.

But the later model has 4 screw holes for the wind deflectors whereas the 07 has only 3 holes.  I do not think the Street Glide even comes with the wind deflectors so that is not the issue.  But was there any other changes to the inner fairing?  Will this later model fit his 07?

Besides the wind deflector holes the 07 has an oval hole i the fairing for the throttle cables and the 08+ do not. Other than that everything will work.

Thanks Jim.  Right you are.  Looks like the 'ole Craftsman drill will have to come out to perform a little surgery. :2vrolijk_21:
