Will this fit the 12 FLTRU?

Friends -- big surprise.  I'm getting contradictory answers from dealers.  I'm trying to learn if the below LED Tour Pak light will work on the 2012 FLTRU.  One dealer says yes -- just remove the HD logo on the pak.  Other Dealer says no, the tour pak on the FLTRU is NOT a King Tour Pak.  Your opinion please:

Very likely what the dealer meant or intended was not that the pak isn't a "King" pak but that it isn't an "Ultra" tour pak.  The 2012 Road Glide Ultra obviously has a King tour pak.  But that pak does not have the Ultra style lights in the back.

What that means to Doofus is that the light kit he is interested in would not be a simple bolt in addition.  Instead the tour pak would have to be cut to accept the Ultra style light assembly.  That shouldn't be a show stopper for a dealership.  But could easily imagine a shop not trusting of its skills saying it was a task they wouldn't do.

I read in the parts catalog that the LED light bar does not need the big cutouts
as the standard light bar does. If that's true, ask the parts guy, or tech about that!

Read the attached instructions for the LED light bar and see if that helps clear everything up.  The kit comes with a plate for the interior of the Pak and a template for drilling a bunch of mounting holes.  As long as the exterior of the T-P is molded in the same shape as the other King T-P's, it would seem it should fit.

btw, if you go to the Harley P&A website and put in 2012 and FLTRU, then go to the lighting section of the resulting menu, you will find that kit listed for the FLTRU.

it does fit, as long as it wasn't cut out for the older lightbar.
