Password When Travelling
« on: November 07, 2006, 12:04:09 AM »

Anyone,

I wanted to ask this question in the FAQ Section, however it would not allow me to Start a New Topic.

Anyway, my question is, when you are travelling can you use the same password on your laptop that is saved to you desktop at home?

Thanks in advance,

But if you should happen to logon from a machine other than your own (hotel lobby for example) be sure hit "logout" up on the site's button/control bar rather than just closing the browser.  Depending on choices you made when logging on you could leave your account signed in on that machine.  Not likely a problem at some random hotel where other site members aren't also residing. But I have watched jackasses sit down at open access machines and scroll back through a machine's recent history just to see if anything worthwhile was left in place.
