Awesome
Prepare for no sleep for a day or two until you take delivery.
the bars do look great. The clean back end sure looks nice compared to the international versions that have the taillight above the plate. I am getting used to the look of mine but it just is not as nice.

Merry Xmas

Did you put in the Fullsac 2.25 baffles yourself or send them to Fullsac for installation?

I just let the dealership install the baffles.  I let them make all the mods.  I haven't picked it up yet.  The dealer ship is 600 miles from where I currently live.

I think those are the really nice Carlini bars.  Either new wiring, or splicing.  Personally, I'd rather make new harnesses.  Much neater and prone to fewer challenges down the road.  JMHO.

Hey twmartin1970, how tall are ya? Let us know how those bars work out for you since many of us want to change our own bars. I'm only 5' 7" so I'm looking out constantly for others bars.

I know you must be having trouble sleeping bcuz of the anticipation! You might as well have the dealership swap out windshields too cuz stock ain't too great. I love the color choice...

Great lookin ride TW I have the silver one coming in Feb, I am not a big fan of apes but I gotta admit those look pretty damn good on there!  I didn't realize the dealer would change out stuff like speakers, bars and such unless it was with HD parts, I will have to ask mine about that! Thanks for the pics, I have trouble sleeping sometimes now, must really suck knowing your bike is done and just waiting for pick up!  Enjoy the ride ! :2vrolijk_21:

I would imagine those dealers in the past that wouldn't do aftermarket installs, let owners bring their own parts/fluids for them to install will have a change of policy soon if not already. With things they way they are I would think they would want to get any and every $$$ they could when they could.

I'm diggin' those bars too.  I noticed on the Paul Yaffe site they come primed, then you paint or plate.

I wonder, would it compromise their strength if a competent welder shortened them an inch or 2 before the plating?

They are Yaffe bars but you need to go to his other website "baggernation.com" for those bars. They also list different sizes...

Wham!  There you go.  10" or 12" (I'm guessing the bars in this thread are 12") rise, 1" or 1.25" diameter.   Pre-drilled for internals & made for Road Glide.

Thanks man.   :2vrolijk_21:

Jason  I am 5' 11".  It will be a few days before I get to ride it.  Gary the tech at the dealership that put everything together for me is a little shorter than me.  He said the bike is very comfortable.  I will get my chance soon.

The bars I ordered were the 10" version.  I did not measure to see if that was correct.

Is it just an optical illusion or what?  The 10" black bars in my post (just above yours) look shorter.

The black ones in the other picture do look shorter.  I didn't measure mine, maybe they sent me the wrong ones.  I think they look great, so if they are wrong, I won't change.  I will measure when I pick up the bike.

Look like at least 12's. I had 10" W1's and the were almost square (height:base). I put the 12.5's on and they look like yours, taller than it is wider at the base. They look at least 12" IMO. ;)

Either way, I like this bar.  It's edgy.

I like the bars too. I think I'm gonna put those bars on the Road Glide but some Carlini Flyin' Apes on my Fat Boy. Hope they turn out...

The set on twmartin's bike are indeed 10" rise (I e-mailed pics to Yaffe).  The black bars on their website are shorter (they guessed 7's).  I'll probably go lower, like the black set -- seems like they'll do whatever rise you want.  Cool.
