Ok, I've waited till everyone had their say and shared all the different reasons and options.
Here's my take and HO on the matter as it relates to my SERG.
I am not going to put anything on it that looks even remotely stupid.
The chopped TP looks good but lacks function, The T-Bag, by the way, we use that name alot but if a guy in prison had that name, what would you think, Anyway the T bag has function but you need a Passenger BR or sissy bar. I ride solo so this is out. So my option is the King TP, Ultra version, custom painted to match the Grey Ghost. TP on Mebay $357.00 + 300 for paint + solo rack so all in $800 and change. and as soon as the paint dries ill send pics. oh one more thing, 195 for the matching snake skin back rest from Corbin, oh well its only money.

I ride solo too   ...    even removed all the excess hardware on the back of my

                                 SERG   ...   use a seat with a driver's backrest with a t-bag on the driver's backrest

probably need to get some black bungies instead of bright

                                                  works out standing

get where you're going ...   carry the bag in   ...   pull out the back rest   ...

looks how you wanted to look riding solo to start with

                                                                     thx

P.S.    driver's backrest even makes the ride more comfortable

                                                               thx

Said exactly the same thing about a different bike once before.  A dear friend said that meant I couldn't get on the bike...

First use of chopped tour pak, could not believe I had ever lived without it.  Over time, however, took the tour pak off and it looks so much better as a solo rider (for me.)

When we travel, the large T-Bag can hold more than one should probably even pack on the bike.  But, it is not 100% water proof, so pack accordingly.  It comes off in a second when you arrive at destination, so end of ugly looks.

Tour pak will probably never go back on my bike.

What you do with yours, is your choice.

I´ll go with the detachable rack and fix a Bag on it when there is the need when my wife will be with me .
Solo , i guess i`ll be able to put my stuff in the saddlebags .
Back to basic .  :bigok:

No man, this year is really special.  We're three or four days in and no one, not one single person, has called me a chithead yet.  At last not out loud.
