Leather Owner's Manual Cover

Was asked a question earlier that I don't know and couldn't find the answer to.  When I brought the classic SERG home a leather-(ish) owner's manual cover was part of the package.  I was asked both if I had it and if the covers were supplied as part of the CVO package for the 2000 and 2001 SERGs.

I have no idea if they were part of the package.  Anyone know for sure?  Maybe someone who bought theirs new and can remember what they were supplied?

Don, of course you know I didn't buy mine new, but yes, the "leather" (who knows if it is or not) cover for the owners manual was included (at least with the 2000) SERGs.  Same one as what came with the SEEGs.  I would think it would still be available if someone needed to replace theirs.

Intersting....  I never got one with the SEEG and it's nowhere mentioned in the SEEG product literature.  Maybe dealer put it with the bike?

I remember seeing them on the P&A shelves.  But not for a few years now.  I bought one off a markdown shelf for the SEEGs book when the bike was new.  Just looked and found no mention of them on the P&A website either.  I'll be damned, we might have ourselves a bona fide collector's item :huepfenlol2: .

The member who asked me is working under the impression they were part of the package with the classic SERGs.  But I didn't know.  Just knew that mine had it.  But it could've come in at any time over the years.

Nope.  Owner's guide and the other expected bits in the tour pak.  But no little sort-of-leather cover.  Hell, it could've been my own cover I bought off the mark-down shelf a few days later :huepfenlol2: .

I got one with both of my SEEG's.  One went with the SEEG I sold, but I still have the one for the SEEG that I crashed and totaled...
