I have an 05 CVO Screamin Eagle.  It is equipped with a remote door opener.  The receiver and transmitter both work fine however, they do not open my new garage doors.  The door manufacturer claims they use some new security 2.o and that you just cant wire any opener or door bell button into their system and have the door opener work.  I know that the equipment works just won't open the new technology door opener.  Has anyone ran into this??  Does anyone know the manufacturer of the Harley Door opener??  I'm willing to call them if I knew who they were.  Does anyone know how to get the old opener to work on new technology door equipment.  The new door actually works off my iPhone but that's a pain to use while driving.  There has to be a solution??

I installed a remote ( from creative access solutions )that attaches to the Harley remote,  works like a charm

There are several threads on the site discussing this issue in detail.  If you want the simplest and cheapest method, and know how to solder wire connections to circuit boards, you can run the wires from the Harley receiver to the wall control for your new garage door opener and solder them to the pins on the circuit board for the switch that is operated by the open/close button on the wall control.  The connection has to be made at that switch, not where the opener wires connect to the wall control. 

Otherwise, you can pay people for various add-ons that will take the signal from the Harley system and retransmit a compatible signal to the door opener. 

There are many ways to skin this cat.
