Best motorcycle helmet headset?
« on: March 06, 2010, 06:09:12 PM »

I am looking to upgrade my helmet headsets from Harley and was wondering an opinion of the best helmet headsets that would work with the SEUC? The set from Harley clips at a low volume and is quite irritating. I have read good things about J&M products.

I sold my H.D. set on ebay and replaced with J&M.  I have no complaints, although I rarely wear a helmet.

If you can solder then just buy the J&M replacement speakers for around $50.00. The sound will be 100% better. Cut the Harley speakers out and install the J&M's. Save lots of $$$ as the Harley mic is OK.

Good idea!  Wish I'd thought of it.

I have J&M and it is excellent.

If you use the CB, be sure and get the HO mike, as the regular one is too quiet for the HD system, and nobody will hear you.

J&M but I will tell you that their Customer Service SUCKS. Don't call them if you have problems just ask your riding buddy's, trust me you will get much better help and you will feel better about using their products. Products are GREAT but Service SUCKS.

I have the j&m set up in a arai and a nolan and they are great. Pricey I guess, but the sound quality is way better than hd's
