Does anybody uses this fm-transmitting system on the bike ?

Seems to be good option.
What do you think about it ?

I've used something similar for a couple of years. Works fine in the car or on the bike. Only problem is when you get in range of a station using the same frequency as what you're using.

Yes sure you`re right , but this fm transmitter searches 3 frequencies at the radio and you can switch to the next when your case happens .

We use it on our houseboat since our radio is older and does not have a front input and it works quite well. I can't see using it the bike since if it's out and available to change frequencies it kind of defeats the purpose of going wireless. Grandpa doc mentioned some gps units that have an fm transmitter built in though

The one I use has five different freqs. that you can search through. Just kind of a pain but it works. FWIW, all the wiring and such goes in the fairing pocket. A bonus is that it also charges the Ipod.

use a similar unit works very well, it also hunts for 3 stations, no problems in car or on bike.
