Rider's Claw mount for GPS
« on: March 22, 2010, 12:15:36 PM »

By popular demand, we're looking to expand our Rider's Claw iPod mounts into the GPS market.
Seems to be a popular question to us through our web site and at trade shows.

I'm looking to you all for some guidance as to what the Top 3 GPS devices are on your Harleys.
I'm guessing it's the Garmin Nuvi... but am looking for more detail as to model.

As always... THANKS!

7x0 and 7x5 will use the same cradle....they have a dock that you plug into so you don't have to plug in a cable each time.

FWIW, this is something I'd possibly be interested in for my 750.  I presently have a mount that attaches to my controls, which I like, vice the handlebar ram mount.  However, it uses the RAM cradle, which is kind of a pain to use as I have to plug and unplug the cable every time I remove it, which defeats the purpose of the hot dock.

I did just get a good Nav program for my iPhone, so maybe I should look at one of those mounts  ;-)

I would offer for the Garmin ZUMO 550 or 660 style due to most members here have these models and these are the ones that the MOCO also offer. As for a third ....well I am not sure.
