04 SEEG radio and arc audio
« on: April 10, 2010, 09:03:16 PM »

Gonna try to explain this.  I have the 04 SEEG..Upgraded to the Arc audio amp and 6.5" speakers..Cant get rid of the alternator whine.  Ground loop noise is terrible...louder as rpm's increase..I have changed from High Z input to a low z (RCA) input..no help..installed ground loop isolator in line with that..no help..the floating ground on this bike is killing me...is there any fix?  what if i use the standard speaker outputs instead of the cvo speaker outputs? Arc has no answers...Thanks for your help!

The CVO speaker leads are connected to an internal 60 watt amp in the radio, yes I would switch the standard leads. Also pull the upper plug on the radio.
