Auxiliary input on Harley Radio
« on: April 17, 2010, 05:02:43 PM »

I used my itouch for the first time with my harley radio, the HK radio on a 2007 SE ultra classic.  I plugged it in and it showed AUX and I selected that and it worked fine.

I just tried to do the same thing today and it will not recognize anything when I plug it in.  The cable is fine and I tested it on another vehicle, and nothing else has changed with the bike.

Any suggestions?  Bad contact in the auxliary input port?  Is there a certain sequence you have to turn anything on to get it to work?

Thanks!  I need help ASAP as I am riding a long ride tomorrow and want it to work!

No sequence.  Sounds like your aux port crapped out.  Sorry 'bout that.

If not under warranty, use this shop.  They can even add an aux port to the rear of the radio.
