J&M product demo at Laughlin
« on: April 26, 2010, 01:59:43 PM »

I went to the river run to learn about wireless everything but came away with an earful on the 7.25 road glide speakers and the NEW amp now available for the road glide. Yes, John the president of J&M told me the road glide in the fairing amp, is now available. (more on the wireless topic in another thread)

They had a display with stock speakers hooked up to a  HK unit.  He then switched it to the 7.25 speakers for comparison.  Wow, night and day. Much louder with little or no distortion.   Then the grand finale'  He switched on the new amp.  Blew me away.  IMO that is the way to go.  I was told the amp was designed to not only fit in the fairing, but in a place that did not impact any other HK add on you may have already installed.

Mine are due here Saturday.  Let me know how involved the power hook up was for the amp.
Good luck

So where is the best place to go for pricing on this? Now that I have my Rider's Claw iPod mount, I want to maximize the sound system with a similar upgrade.

Installed the 7.25's and so far they seem OK the real test will be on the highway. We will see if they can be heard over the V&H power dual and Hi outputs.  :2vrolijk_21:

Best price I saw for the J&M 7.25 speakers and amp was Dr VTWIN

I can say at highway speeds 70 through 90's this system will make your ears bleed. Damn thing is outstanding. No distortion at all. I rode from Philly down to M.B. on Friday and the sound from that system was great.........................Fuzz
