Don't know if it fits the 550.  I would suspect not but I will see if I can figure that out.

For the HD mount the audio I believe goes out to the aux input.

i use the Cell Set system from kennedy technology so I don't use the aux input.

Thanks, I saw the mount on one of the new Black CVO's yesterday, and it is clean looking.  If I could get my 550 on it I would have one.  What is the set up your using to eliminate the wires sounds interesting?

Best add-on to my bike ever.  Have had it on all three of my ultra's.

I've got the Kennedy tech unit on order. How was the install?  I read the manual and it looked intricate but did not look like a lot of parts had to come off to get it done.  Also, it looked like the Garmin power came via the Kennedy unit by way of the radio itself.  Thus no new power hook up for either component.  Didn't mean to detour thread, sorry.

 ::) ::)

installation a bit tedious as you are modifying the HD harness's to accomodate the Cell Set.  Not to bad,  aout two hours including removing the fairing.

Maybe a little longer.  Power connected via the HD power supply harness direct to the battery.

Need a heat gun to shrink the shrink wrap.  But everuthing else is cut and dry.

Great product.

I wonder if the H-D version will apply or is it just the Garmin?

This would bring Jenni @ Tri county H-D down to $499.96 after the mail in rebate.   WOW!

Plus I believe I was told somewhere that the H-D version has a 2 year warranty instead of the standard 1 year. HMMMMMMM   :idea:

Not sure if the deal is available where you are, Garmin has a $100.00 mail in rebate starting 01/05/10 check with your local dealer. :2vrolijk_21:

For those not international, that is May 1, 2010, NOT Jan 5, 2010.
