FLHXSE w/Accessories
« on: August 31, 2009, 05:32:21 PM »

You all know what a Spiced Rum looks like, but I thought you'd want to see one with passing lamps, adj. wind deflectors, mid-frame heat deflectors, HDs FLH Zumo 660 mount (very sweet), floorboards, and Flanders bars with 2" more pullback and 2" taller (then rotated back for a bit more reach and to clear the mirrors).

At one photo per post, this will take a few, but keep reading...

Looking great...So what are you going to do with the rear passenger pegs?   If you're thinking of selling them, you have a buyer right here. :)  Let me know.

I'm keeping them for highway pegs if I can ever save enough to buy lowers...

If I can save enough money, lowers and a tour pak would be about all I can think of. But, with all the card carrying OCD members here, I'm sure I'll get suggestions.

What is the part number of the passing lamps? So far the dealer here doesnt have the 2010 P/A-catalog. Thanks for your help!

Was the installation complicated/ time consuming, was removal of the fairing necessary? Where do you placed the switch for them?

Thanks for your help!

If I can save enough money ...

That's probably an oxymoronic statement with having this bike   :P

I've read the post regarding the matching floorboards but haven't looked into cost for the setup, any approximation? It's probably something I am going to do. Also, did you need to buy longer lines for the Flander bars?

Looking good for sure!

Here's the # for the passing lamps 69818-06
Fits '06-later FLHX and FLHXXX models. Kit includes passing lamp housings, retaining rings, chrome mounting brackets, auxiliary lamp switch and hardware. Auxiliary Lamp Bulbs and Bullet Turn Signal Kits sold separately.
MSRP US $299.95

But, you also need turn signals, sold separately, of course. All in all, the parts were about $520. My mechanic at the dealer said it was a relatively easy install, but I don't have separate quote for the labor on this one item.

The floorboards had to be ordered part by part using parts #s from the '10 CVO Ultra. Came to about $500 or so total without the adjustable mounts used on the Ultra.
