Super Tuner Software Problems
« on: July 13, 2009, 08:59:40 PM »

I've had this Super tuner for some time and decided to use it this last weekend. I installed the software and then updated it using the auto update option. WHat is the current version? It won't let me use the auto update feature now without telling me it cannot connect. Also, I cannot amend the map, it seems to be locked on the fuel tables. The file I am opening is 200UJ001.dt0, Is that the correct file type?

TIA

Ned

Be sure you're in Advanced mode.
you might do your homework from info on this site,   they've really changed the way you get around in the software.  You have to drag your working table to the window on the right to open it up and modify it.
Also,   dont forget to enabe the ACR,    the default is Disabled.

OK, picked up version 2 software today. It is 2009 and back to 2002 I think compatible. If all else fails red the directions.... you have to drag and drop the item you want to open. Hooked up to the bike and got the green connection icon at the bottom left of the window. Then it updated the firmware in the tuner.

Problem now is I get a message at the bottom of the flash screen that says the file is not compatible with the ECM...WTF is that all about?   :nixweiss:

Anybody have any wisdom to share?

Unfortunately they only have one "canned" map for your setup,  maybe 2 at most.   So if you try to choose one that is not compatible for your 08 110" bike then it knows and wont let you use it.

What  are the compatible file names?

When you go to tuning and "load" a tuning file it brings up all the files to choose from.  The only way that I know to tell is to select the file and it will bring up a short description such as:
2009 1800 CVO
SE Air Cleaner
Race Exhaust
Then you may see another one for a 09 1800 CVO that would include camshafts, etc.

Good luck
