Title: Corbin trunkrest on SEEG king tour pak
Post by: MoChrome on April 19, 2004, 07:39:55 PM
I recived my Corbin dual tour seat, backrest and tour-pak trunkrest Friday. Looks great and the heated seat was nice when I went for a ride Saturday morning when it was still cool outside. The seat is about 3/4" higher than stock and moved me back maybe the same amount.

For those who have intsalled a Corbin trunkrest on a SEEG king tour-pak, did you have to drill new mounting holes? Either HD put a chopped tour-pak lid on my king tour-pak or all the SEEG tour-paks (king and chopped) are drilled only for the HD pad that matches the stock SEEG seat. My buddy John has the same issue with the king tour-pak he received for his orange / black SEEG.

I stressed over this a while until I figured out how to accuartely mark the locations and drill holes into the tour-pak lid. Kinda scary drilling holes in a $800+ tour-pak, but thankfully I got it right the first time.
