i,d try to get by taking less stuff, before punching hole in tour pac, look into saddle bag bra that holds sleeping bag etc. theres wall mart in every derection for forgotten items-ak

Check her bags before you go. I took a girl friend to Lake Tahoe for the weekend and when we arrived I found she brought 5 pairs of shoes. She is no longer my girl friend and I have learned to set bounderies.
Everything you NEED will fit, you just have to be creative.

I don't know if this helps, but the dealer I purchased my bike thru gave me a smoking deal on a king pac with the docking hardware and the premium rack.  All for $600.00 seems they ordered them in before they knew the bikes were coming with the chopped pac.  For that price I coulbn't resist  and bought it. I think they have a few more
