Hi Y'all
Not a new member but I've been away for a long while
I have a 1999 FXR3 and I know nothing of new bikes (like my 99 is a new bike)
I have only owned pre 74 and am not up to snuff on any bikes newer than that
Here's my question - I found a windshield style I'd like for my FXR but the company that makes it doesn't specify FXR let along FXR3
I was told by FXR friends to buy a windshield for a Sportster Custom as this is a fork mounted shield
'The company doesn't carry that either - they are fairly new and have not been able to "fit" alot of bikes
I know I need 39mm for the fork mount and I know I want a headlamp opening for a non- shrouded headlamp (a lot of Spotsters and low riders have that headlight cowl cover)
Will a fork mount windshield for a 2006-2014 FXDC Superglide also fit my 1999 FXR like it should?

I am not sure if it fits or not? If interested I do have a HD OEM quick detachable one available that I bought for my FXR3.
