Wondering if anyone has tried Nu Finish to polish their bike?  If so, what is your opinion?

The Nu finish your talking about, if its in an orange bottle I have used it many years ago and did the job back then but use Meguiars now, a lot easier to apply and wipe off than new finish.

Yes, that's the one.  Supposed to last longer than Meguiar's.  Any opinion?

All I know is that Meguires is easy to apply and the water beads off like water off a ducks back.
Plus there is a whole product range of Meguires where as I have only come across the one product of new finish. Not sure but its been a long time since I have used Nu finish but I think it is a little abrasive and thats something I will not use on my paint.

Best to try a bit in a place that is not exposed before going crazy with it.

It is not expensive and it is still on the market after all these years so it must be somewhat good. I believe this came out the same time Finish 2000? Came out which was one of those wash your car then apply the wax (Finish 2000) then just spray it off. I have not seen this wax in a long time. So ...

BTW Nu Finish used to or maybe still do make an off road wax which boasted a tougher wax for bush whacking I guess. I think they still make some sort of vinyl cleaner.

If you follow the first coat of Nufinish with a second coat, and don't use harsh soaps it will easliy last a whole riding season....
