The standard nylon cover that either you get from Harley or one of the aftermarkets does a pretty good job of keeping the dust off.  I typically let mine cool for a few hours then put the cover on it and it makes a huge difference, especially living in the dust bowl of Oklahoma!

Let me see if I got this right.......your dealer actually CLEANS you bike when you have it in for service???? What a novel concept!
Out here, our dealers usually leave fingerprints, and smudges all over your paint when you get it back, and the typical response is:  "Well, it was like that when you brought it in"!

Mine does... but a neighboring dealer does as you described...

Need to ask the dealership--all those bikes in the showroom never get dusty.....     I have used dust covers from Exigent for several years and dust does not get thru the cover.

The secret to keeping your bike clean in your garage is to keep your garage clean.

I never even use a cover...

Good advice. Even I can outrun dust with my stock 110.

:2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: Always 'dust' (if you can't rinse) before rubbing to clean off bugs & stuff.  Saves the clear from scratches. ;)  spyder

Take it to Tilley's and leave it all Winter!  :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: Seriously, when Ol' Maudie is resting upon her jack, in my garage at home, I have my Detail Man come clean her every 2 weeks, and wax once a month with 3M Hand Glaze.  There endeth the lesson.    8)  Later--HUBBARD
