Photos do not do the gold leaf justice. You have to see it in person. It's incredible. The fit & finish is one of MoCo's best one yet. Can't wait for the first run tomorrow.

The pale 20-carot gold leaf graphics are the eagle back to the bag. It looks like the stripe in the picture, but trust me it's the real deal. I'm from Mass.

Very nice, love the blue. Only thing is the blue looks so good gotta paint the inner fairing, then change the beer cans to chrome and get the black off the wheels so all chrome and then yeeeehaaww. But if your happy the way it comes just ride and enjoy. I really like the paint on the tanks rather than the glue on badge of some sort.

Like the flames on the 07 SERKs, Red was Dark gold leaf, Blue was pale gold leaf, and Black was very light almost silver gold leaf.

Most people do not realize that it is gold leaf until you see the seams, etc.

This the bike I'd buy if it had a 88, 95, 0r 103" motor. Burned once shame on HD, burned twice... (guess)

Hey guys,
I saw a blue today in person. Shumate Harley in Kennewick WA has one on the floor. It's prettier in person than I thought it would be. It did have a flaw in the gold leaf on the right saddle bag. Looks like it may have had a bubble in the leaf in a couple of spots. I like the wheels more than I would have thought. It really is a beautiful bike.

Moodman...absolutely beautiful! You have given me complete piece of mind. I have the same color on order but won't see mine until late fall (Nov-Dec before my dealer is scheduled for his next SESG). I'm just north of you in the Nashua area of New Hampshire and purchased mine from Heritage Harley in Concord. I passed on the the Spicy Rum color which Heritage currently has on the showroom floor...tough to walk away from one I could have driven home and not have to wait 3-4 months and take delivery of mine in the snow. The Spicy Rum looked really good , however, after viewing your pics I'm convinced it will be worth the wait for the Candy Concord. Given all the posts and uncertainty on what aftermarket exhausts will be available for the 2010's, it looks like it will be winter before we have options to choose from. It will be a great winter project to pass the time before I can start riding in the spring. I would love to see your bike this summer...PM me if this is doable!

It's not an optical illusion. The front fender is slammed and "chopped" a little so that it exposes more of the front wheel and gives it a more custom look...

So the pics gave me incentive to find the bike. I found one 1 1/2 hours away for MSRP. I even called my dealer and told him that I would buy the warranty from him since I did order the original from him and now I just bought it somewhere else. Everybody thinks that was very nice of me and my dealer will still make a couple of hundred from selling me the warranty--and I get to ride my new bike now!!!!! The blue looks WAAAYYY better in person than the pics!!

Days are shorter longer.... summer is almost over..... I was Ok waiting for my bike until I saw those pics.... Does it make any sense that the dealer does not know if the bike is getting delivered until he actauly hears from the truck driver and gets his manifest? That's what I just heard Saturday at the dealership

Bike looks great. But aren't you going to miss all that utility the Ultra had to offer, for those long trips. Sure would have been nice to keep the Ultra for the long trips and the Street Glide for "everything else". I understand though. Bike looks great nevertheless. Hope you enjoy!! Congrats.. JohnT.

I agree this is the absolute best color for the CVO Street Glide!!!

I just sold a 06 FLHX Street Glide in the same color to get ready to buy one of these.

As most have reported Harley seems to be shipping to some geographic locations and not to other quite yet.

Given the demand for these somewhat expensive bikes I have to ask "What Recession".

I am hoping to locate one shortly at retail.

I didn't bring the bike home yesterday, but it is mine. I put my '02 Firefighter Road King on the floor on consignment.. I'd rather put the money it brings toward the SE SG than have to write a check for the whole amount (I'm anti-financing). I'll give it a couple weeks to see what happens. The selling dealer is one of the best I've ever dealt with.

Still haven't picked up my SESG, but I'm not in a rush, and neither is my dealer. They've had a few biters on my '02 Road King, but no one has put down the cash - yet. Meanwhile, I ride out (it's 40 miles from the house) every weekend just to sit on it.
